In 2025, Kāinga Ora, one of New Zealand’s largest public housing and community development agencies, successfully completed the migration of its core enterprise and tenancy management systems from on-premise infrastructure to TEAM Cloud’s sovereign platform.
A Large-Scale Migration Delivered Without Disruption
Delivered in partnership with Cognizant, the migration represents one of New Zealand’s largest cloud transitions completed at pace and without disruption. As the managed service provider and migration implementer, Cognizant worked closely with Kāinga Ora and TEAM Cloud to move its full core enterprise and tenancy management platform from legacy on-premise infrastructure to TEAM Cloud. Through detailed planning, phased execution and strong collaboration across all parties, the cutover was executed smoothly with minimal disruption to critical services.
